When ordering repeat prescriptions, please allow a MINIMUM of 48 hours before collection.
FROM 1ST APRIL 2018 YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO ORDER YOUR PRESCRIPTION AT YOUR PHARMACY OR BY TELEPHONE TO THE SURGERY
We will only be able to accept orders from you, a relative or carer.
You may request a repeat prescription using the following methods:
- On line via EMIS Patient Access (please ask at reception for a PIN number)
- In person at the surgery
- Leaving a completed tick slip in the drop box in reception or, when the surgery is closed, in the post box at the car park entrance
Your prescription can be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy.
This change is being made due to recent guidance from Chorley & South Ribble CCG and has been introduced to reduce medication waste which currently costs the NHS approximately 300 million pounds a year.
If you feel you will have problems ordering your prescription in the future please speak to a receptionist who will be happy to discuss your individual needs.
