Covid-19 Vaccination

Our practice is part of the Ribble Medical Group Primary Care Network and our COVID19 Vaccination Site which has been running since December 2020 will be decommissioned on Thursday 27th May 2021 at 5pm due to completion of our Phase I vaccination delivery programme.

Our team would like to offer their grateful thanks to the volunteers of Penwortham Cricket Club for their continued dedication and support throughout the delivery of our vaccination programme.

We would like to thank our practice staff teams who have volunteered their time on their days off and during their leave to help on site.

Please Note:

We are reaching the end of the second vaccine cycle now at Penwortham Cricket Club Vaccination Site for all those patients who received their first vaccine there.

Important :  Anyone who had AstraZeneca as their first vaccine at the Penwortham Vaccination Site and has been sent an invite then please click on the link to book your vaccine now to arrange your appointment.

The last Pfizer clinics have now all been completed.

The vaccination clinic at Penwortham Cricket Club will be de-commissioned when all the clinics have been completed for those awaiting their 2nd AZ vaccination if they had their 1st doses given at the Cricket Club.

Any eligible patients seeking their first COVID19 vaccination or 2nd dose Pfizer vaccination should now be contacting 119 via the telephone or via the online booking service - please do not contact the surgery as you will be signposted as below:

Patients who are eligible to receive a Covid-19 Vaccination will be invited to book an appointment.

It is really important that you make arrangements to have the vaccine once invited so that together we can return to some state of normal. If you have not received a letter, phone call or text message to book a vaccine, please do not worry, we will notify everyone in priority order when the vaccine becomes available. We would be grateful if you do not telephone the practice or hospital, please wait to be invited.
